Sewer and drain cleaning

A clogged drain can turn into flooding, water damage, odors and mold if it is left alone. We find the source of the problem first, then clear it, for homes and businesses in Marin County.

What we do

  • Main sewer cleaning
  • Secondary drain cleaning
  • Sewer maintenance programs
  • Sewer repair and replacement
  • Hydrojetting
  • Pipe locating
  • Video camera inspections
  • Commercial sewer line cleaning
  • Commercial drain cleaning

Signs of a clogged drain

  • Standing water in the shower
  • Backed-up water at more than one fixture
  • A tub, shower or sink that drains slowly
  • Gurgling or bubbling drains
  • Foul odor from drain openings
  • Frequent toilet clogs

If you notice any of these, a short call can save a bigger repair later.

Sewer maintenance and repair

Many older homes in Marin County have clay sewer pipes, and roots can grow into them. Where it is possible, we maintain the pipes rather than replace the whole line. For most lines we suggest cleaning once or twice a year. Repairing a line instead of replacing it can mean:

  • A quicker job
  • Fewer permits
  • Less disruption to your property
  • Lower cost

Hydrojetting for stubborn clogs

Hydrojetting cleans a sewer line with a high-pressure stream of water, usually at 4,000 psi or more. It clears stubborn buildup that a standard cleaning leaves behind, and it can help if the same drain keeps clogging. We decide between hydrojetting and other cleaning equipment after we see what is in the line.

Sewer camera inspections

If a drain is clogged, a video camera inspection shows what the problem is. A camera on a reel travels through the line, so you and we can see the cause for ourselves, whether it is root intrusion, improper slope, or another blockage. We can also locate the pipe.
